The South East Wales Consortium is pleased to announce the release of an electronic Needs Analysis survey for 2010/2011.
With the introduction of CPD Online, it was decided to transfer the Needs Analysis process to an online survey. The format is retained from previous years, and is available to both Cardiff LEA and Torfaen LEA schools.
Advisory staff have compiled a list of 10 potential priorities for the next financial year in each subject area, and these can be rated by users in order of importance. When logged in, Cardiff LEA and Torfaen LEA will be presented with a link to the survey in their menu bar at the top of the screen. Clicking this will transfer you to the Survey site. You will be asked to provide your full name, establishment, your role within the school, and the subject area you wish to prioritise. Please ensure all requested details are provided.
On selecting your chosen subject area, you will be presented with up to 10 priorities for 2010/2011. Please rate them in order of priority from 1 to 10, with ‘1’ the most important, and ‘10’ the least important priority, taking into account your departmental/school improvement plan. Please then add additional priorities in the section provided. You will be asked to rate these priorities using the same system as above.
To access the survey click the following link: http://surveys.cardiff.gov.uk/cpd/ , or click ‘Needs Analysis’ (next to ‘My CPD Online’) when logged into CPD Online.
If you have any technical questions in regards to completing the survey please contact Darren O’Leary on 02920 432751 or DOLeary@Cardiff.gov.uk.
