NEWPORT LEA OFFERS RYDER CUP CPD EVENTS:
 Newport LEA is pleased to offer Ryder Cup CPD Events for the 2010-2011 Financial Year:
NEW10/409, NEW10/410, NEW10/411
These events include:
Half day course to disseminate the Nationally launched Ryder Cup Branded Educational Resource produced by Newport Advisory Team and Newport teachers.
Resource includes Cross Curricular planning and resources for thematic learning:
• Launch materials;
• English, including original fictional story ‘Ug and the Cup of Good Fortune’ written by Paul Manship published Newport Author;
• Mathematics;
• Equalities;
• ESDGC;
• Design Technology;
• Creativity through ICT;
• Music - original musical based on ‘Ug and the Cup of Good Fortune’ which will allow schools’ to stage their own production.
