Governor Induction
This course will provide a general introduction to the role of the school governor.

 

This will include:


• the roles and responsibilities of the governing body
• how to be an effective governor
• the rules and regulations when holding governing body meetings
• the importance of further governor training
• highlight local aspects of governance

Regional Digital Conference
The Regional Digital Conference has a clear focus and thread linking to leadership and pedagogy of Digital technology. The event will be delivered through the format of Key Note Speakers and Carousel Workshops rotated throughout the day. Cohort 1 ETLF - Excellent teaching and leadership framework for Senior and Middle Leaders
The ETLF is an excellent tool for senior and middle leaders to use within their school to aid effective self-evaluation and improvement processes. It will also support participants to develop the use of the professional teaching and leadership standards for themselves and the staff within their school.

Middle Leader Development Programme - Primary

The programme follows the professional learning model that incorporates

- Collaborative learning using triads to develop each other at peer level

- Reflective practice by applying learning back in school between workshops

- Coaching and mentoring through a school-based mentor

- Engaging with relevant data and evidence from research in the content of the programme.


It is delivered through five workshops and a series of ‘gap tasks’ specific to each participant’s role in their school.
