Effective Leadership: Inspection - Coming ready or not!
The event will focus on strategies to improve leadership skills, support for effective self-evaluation including monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning in order to raise standards of achievement. The day will include first hand advice from effective leaders who fully appreciate the challenges of working in a non-maintained setting.

Event Outcomes Day 1 
Self-evaluation training.
Delegates will understand how to utilise a range of tools for collecting evidence in order to effectively inform the self-evaluation process which supports improvement plans that focus on improving outcomes for children.

Day 2
Delegates will develop an awareness of the Inspection Framework for non-maintained settings and become familiar with the documentation available. They will be confident in producing documentation that supports the inspection process and providing these documents electronically.

Day 3

The day will involve theory and practical advice to develop leadership skills, including how to motivate a team.

Day 4 
Self-evaluation clinic
The clinic will provide an opportunity for settings to confirm appropriateness of evidence for each key question in relation to Estyn inspection requirements
