Digital Competence in the Foundation Phase (Cancelled)
The journey to digital competence begins in the Foundation Phase and a good grounding in this age phase can ensure that pupils become good digital citizens. This training will give delegates the confidence to plan and deliver activities that develop digital competence, with a literacy or numeracy focus. There will be the opportunity to observe many of these activities in practice and to discuss with Foundation Phase teachers, the logistics of carrying out these exciting lessons. There will be a clear focus on how to develop activities in focus groups and the enhanced provision to develop learners’ confidence and independence when using technology.
