




Numeracy Co-ordinator Network Meeting

These termly half-day meetings provide on-going support and networking opportunities for numeracy co-ordinators to meet and share good practice with regards to whole school numeracy alongside colleagues from all five local authorities. Training will also be provided to support numeracy co-ordinators in leading and co-ordinating the implementation of the National Numeracy Framework and in establishing whole-school processes to assess, track and report on pupils’ numeracy skills. | ||||

Event Outcomes |
As a result of the programme, participants will: • Receive up-to-date information on curriculum initiatives and further training and guidance materials as they become available to equip leaders of mathematics in moving the school forward; • Meet with colleagues to share ideas and provide ongoing feedback on school initiatives; • Gain awareness of good practice in other departments across the consortium. Learners in school will benefit from: • Carefully planned teaching and consolidation of numeracy skills in mathematics and numeracy lessons and across the curriculum; |
