Pupil Development Grant and Resource Workshop 2018/19
Training on the Effective use of PDG and how to operate the grant planning tool for both schools and clusters.

The purpose of the PDG is to improve outcomes for learners eligible for free school meals (eFSM) and Looked After Children (LAC). It is intended to overcome the additional barriers that prevent learners from disadvantaged backgrounds achieving their full potential.
Workshop to support Headteachers complete their grant planning form.

Workshops will cover:
• How to use the new school and cluster planning tool including how to find and upload information.
• information on what you need to consider when planning how to use the grant.
• Welsh Government Documentation: Pupil Deprivation Grant - What Really Works and Rewriting the Future: raising attainment and ambition in Welsh Schools.
• The Sutton Trust-EEF Teaching and Learning Toolkit
• Good examples of expenditure from across the region.
