The Role of the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children
The course will provide an understanding of:
An important course to explore the needs of looked after children, the statutory responsibilities of the school and practical ways to ensure that these are met effectively.
This training is aimed at designated leads and other school staff, local Wellbeing leads and vulnerable children managers, designated teachers and learning support staff and other interested practitioners.
There are opportunities throughout to discuss effective provision and identify plans for improvements. Delegates receive comprehensive information packs to complement the training.
