




Year 6 Antur Anhygoel Coch (Amazing Adventure) Methodology Training Course

This is a one-and-a-half-day methodology course to introduce and support the teaching of the new EAS Y6 SoW. This scheme follows on from the previous Y3/4/5 SoWs already available to support the Pod Antur Series and the EAS LLC Welsh Foundation Phase Hwyl Dan Saith series. The half-day follow-up to share good practice will take place in the Welsh LNS in the spring term. | ||||

Outcomes and Benefits for the Target Group • They will be able to use a range of language teaching methods and resources developed specifically to interest, stimulate and challenge all learners. • They will be able to develop learners’ communication skills in Welsh ensuring continuity and progression. • Delegates will be able to use AFL strategies effectively in Welsh, understand how to close the gap and track learners’ progress. • Delegates will have an opportunity to share the impact of the teaching of the SoW and new teaching strategies with other participants in their Welsh LNS.
