Heads of English Network Meeting
This programme is designed for Secondary Heads of English plus their SLT link and will focus on supporting the leadership and development of English in the secondary sector. This network will support Heads of English with the preparation for and implementation of key local, regional and national focus areas including changes to GCSE and A’ Level, addressing the needs of the reviewed National Curriculum Programmes of Study and the National Literacy Framework. Each of the three termly sessions will provide opportunities for attendees to receive up to date information regarding developments in curriculum and assessment, as well as promoting discussion between colleagues to share good practice within and between our five local authority areas.
