PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE IS PROVIDED BY A THIRD-PARTY AND YOU WILL INVOICED BY THEM, NOT THE EAS.
 
Train with an authentic company that is partnered with Scanidiavian Nature Kindergartens and a Lead Trainer, Darren Lewis who trained extensively in the original Pedagogy that is still practiced throughout Sweden, Denmark, Norway & Finland.
 
This course is designed for those who would like to set up and run forest School programmes. 
Forest School is a proven pedagogical methodology and one which has been adopted extensively throughout Scandinavia where it has become a key element of Early Years provision.
A great way to deliver & embed the LNF, Wellbeing & Successful Futures using the outdoors!!
  
Forest School provides a unique way of creating a child centred learning environment which fosters independence and self esteem in children through involvement in stimulating outdoor learning activities that enhance physical, mental, social and cognitive development.
 
The 10 day course involves (from Sept 18 all L3 courses should have a minimum of 10 days training to meet Forest School Association quality guidelines):
5 days initial training ( inclusive of 1/2 day Talking & Thinking Floorbook training to document learning journey & 1/2 Study visit at Dare Valley Nature Kindergarten Wales' only Nature Kindergarten)
2 day Practical skills assessment
2 day Forest School First Aid course. 
1 day Outdoor Food Hygiene (Level 2) 
 
Theory is completed via our E-Learning system and can be completed at own pace (submission in 10 months).
 
Most of each day is spent in the outdoors, please come prepared.
