




ComIT Toolkit
This session is for staff to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the components of communication. To aid identification of pupils communication needs, to support and monitor identified pupils using the ComIT checklist and toolkit. Objectives • To identify the components of communication using the Language Pyramid • To aid identification of pupils speech, language and communication needs • To provide a tool to support pupils with identified speech, language and communication needs • To provide general strategies to support children with speech, language and communication needs. **CANCELLATIONS** This is a FREE event, however there will be a charge of £50 for those delegates who book a place and do not attend. Cancellations will be accepted up to two working days before the event. We can accept substitutions if the named participant is unable to attend at short notice. |
