New to teaching the Skills Challenge Certificate?
This programme will focus on training teachers in delivering the skills challenge certificate. The sessions will cover all aspects of the course and focus on the most effective methods of delivery.

Session 1 – In this session, delegates will be given an outline of the course followed by workshops on each challenge/project. These workshops will cover the basics of what to teach and cover, and what good work looks like. Following the session, delegates will have opportunity to trial strategies in lessons, and bring areas of challenge to the followings session. (Note, this session will be a repeat of the session delivered in July 2018)

Session 2 – This session will focus on good practice in teaching and learning in the skills challenge. There will be opportunities to discuss areas of challenge.

Session 3 - This session will focus on marking and moderation of the assessed work and discuss a teacher’s role and responsibilities within the process.
