Event Outcomes

  • An exploration of universal provision for the wellbeing of all learners at Penygarn Primary, particularly those provisions that directly address the needs of LAC pupils.

  • Delegates will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the following provisions– Play Therapy, Nurture, role of the Education Family Support worker, Trauma Informed Schools and specific interventions for LAC pupils.

  • An awareness of regional professional learning opportunities available specifically for LAC.

  • A knowledge and understanding of provision that can be used to support all pupils.

  • A greater understanding of LAC pupils and how school staff can accommodate and cater for pupils with specific needs
