The regional support toolkit for Relationships and Sexuality Education aims to ensure that leaders in all schools understand the national and regional strategy for evaluating, planning and delivering provision for an effective RSE curriculum.

The aim of this toolkit is to improve the profile, quality and consistency of Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) in line with National recommendations and guidance so that schools can: 

o Support learners to become healthy, confident individuals who form positive relationships based on mutual trust and respect and are building their mental and emotional wellbeing by developing confidence, resilience and empathy;

o Develop high quality RSE provision which responds effectively to a wide range of issues in response to lived
experiences of their learners; and 

o Ensure learners have access to a wide range of support and advice
