ETLF - Excellent teaching and leadership framework for Middle Leaders COHORT 6
The ETLF is an excellent tool for middle leaders to use within their school to aid effective self-evaluation and improvement processes. It will also support participants to develop the use of the professional teaching and leadership standards for themselves and the staff within their school.

The programme follows the professional learning model that incorporates
- Collaborative learning using triads to develop each other at peer level
- Reflective practice by applying learning back in school between workshops
- Coaching and mentoring through an ETLF leadership coach
- Engaging with relevant data and evidence from research in the content of the programme. Linking with the National Mission enablers to help promote effective leadership across the school.

The programme will be delivered by Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers and Senior Leaders for middle leaders. The programme will run over summer term 2019 and comprises of 5 workshop sessions complemented by a series of ‘gap tasks’ specific to each participant’s role in their school. Opportunities will be given to participants to hear from practitioners how have already begun to develop the use of the ETLF within their school.

All participants will be asked to ensure their contact details on CPD are accurate as materials will be shared via email. Participants are also required to bring along a device/ laptop to access e-materials during the sessions.
