Considering the LLC AoLE Beginning the LLC journey: Launch of the LLC 2019-20 Languages Festival
Summary / Crynodeb

This will be our 1st dedicated LLC event looking in more detail at the principles behind the LLC AoLE and the support available for the development of Languages, Literacy and Communication across the region.

During the event we will launch our new EAS framework and resource platform for the development of literacy skills.

The King Henry cluster will present their cluster approach to the development of oracy and their collaboration with Voice 21.

We will hear from experts who supported the development of the LLC AoLE and wider curriculum including Prof. Mererid Hopwood, Languages and Cwricwlwm Cymreig, University of Wales Trinity St David and Prof. Claire Gorrara, International Languages and Multilingualism, Cardiff University.

There will also be an opportunity to learn about collaboration across languages in schools and clusters.
This will begin our ‘Festival for Languages’ and a dedicated programme of support across languages for schools throughout 2019-20.

We look forward to seeing you at Llancaiach Fawr to begin our LLC AoLE journey!
