These sessions aim to support governors in developing their understanding of the strategic role of the governing body, looking at planning, monitoring and how governors evaluate school performance – Asking the challenging questions.

Learning Network Schools - STEM Microbit Coding (Option 2)
Session 1: An introduction to classroom coding making use of the BBC Micro:bit. The course will be a series of practical activities making use of the BBC Micro:bit using resources prepared by the LNS school. as well as highlighting aspects of the role pertinent to South East Wales.
The session will provide a brief introduction to:
• the key role of the chair
• building and maintaining relationships
• running efficient and effective meetings
