Aspiring Headteacher – Preparing for Headship Programme
The programme’s main purposes are:

 

• To ensure that participants are aware of the aspects of leadership which they need both in their current and future roles;
• To explore with participants their leadership styles and approaches
• To familiarise and prepare the participants with the requirements for gaining the NPQH.

Developing Oracy skills in Welsh (for English medium primaries)
This one-day (with half-day feedback) course offers training in developing oracy skills using the most up-to-date best practice language teaching methodologies and teaching strategies which are progressively exemplified throughout the EAS Welsh schemes of learning, from foundation phase through to year 6. Teachers should bring their Hwyl dan 7 or Antur Anhygoel scheme of learning to the course to link the skills to their SoL’s content

Religious Studies GCSE Support programme
The professional learning programme for Heads of RE and RE teachers at KS4 will consist of a termly session, with opportunities for collaborative work between sessions. The focus will be on preparing learners for the new GCSE specification.
