DCF in Action using the ETF
The 21st Century Learning Leader will outline a strategic approach, using the ETF, to introducing and implementing the DCF. Exemplar whole school training on the Digital Competence Framework (DCF) will be showcased. The training is designed to enable teachers to think carefully about the framework and make links with the current arrangements for the delivery of ICT.

Examples of the following will be provided:

Developing Welsh Communication Skills
This one day course is designed to share a range of best practice strategies to develop learners’ Welsh second language oracy skills. eSafety: Keeping Pupils and Staff Safe Online (Cancelled)
Rigorous eSafety is becoming increasingly important in schools.  This course will equip delegates with the knowledge needed to assess their school's eSafety procedures and how to improve them to protect pupils and staff alike.  Through scenario based learning, delegates will become more familiar with what actions to take in particular instances to protect the school, pupils and staff.  The course will also develop an understanding of positive online behaviour and how to develop good digital citizens

Aiming for Excellent (Cancelled)

Elklan speech & language support in the primary classroom - a two day overview for teachers
PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE IS PROVIDED BY A THIRD-PARTY AND YOU WILL INVOICED BY THEM, NOT THE EAS.
 
This course trains Teachers of children with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties, to identify support and develop the skills of these pupils by fully utilising school staff and available resources. There is a COMPULSORY requirement for 1 relevant school staff (SENCO/ Head of Phase/ SEAL Coordinator) to attend this 2 day course prior to sending any staff on the 10 week course.
