This event to be delivered by the ALPS team invites school data managers to consult on the current data processes and future development of ALPS Connect. The agenda for this morning session will focus on:
- Update on Connect Data future developments / feedback from schools - Some training on Connect Data - Bespoke training / support requirements by schools
A national programme for practising Teaching Assistants. TAs will be shown the new professional standards for assisting teaching and how to use them to support their professional development. Topics covered will include, assessment for learning, differentiation, behaviour management and appropriate support.
The event will provide opportunities for practitioners to improve their knowledge and understanding of how to develop a number of scientific strands. These will include: predicting, observing, communicating findings, explaining, drawing conclusions and linking learning by using a number of resources including the digital resources, ‘Explorify,’ ‘Terrific Scientific’ and ‘I Can Explain!’
