Tackling the Tail of Underachievement in Year One (LLC intervention training for TAs in Y1)
Quality intervention by trained Teaching Assistants can significantly contribute towards closing the achievement gap which can exist in the early stages of literacy acquisition. The Regional Programme for Curriculum Reform
The new (draft) Curriculum for Wales will be published in April 2019. This development programme will support each school’s ‘professional learning lead’ to understand the key issues that will emerge from the reform. It will also provide a toolkit of resources (workshops and e-learning materials) to the support dissemination of key messages to all school based practitioners.
Part 1 of this programme will be a series of four face-to-face workshops with associated gap tasks, which will take place at the times outlined below
