Safeguarding Training - Preventing Radicalisation and Extremism in Schools
Further to recent communication you will be aware that Section 26 of the Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015 places a duty on schools to have ‘due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism’.

You may also be aware that from July 2015, Estyn have a responsibility to look at school procedures for preventing radicalisation and extremism (reported under the safeguarding section of the Inspection report).
