EAL Toolkit
A group of Newport based Schools, both Primary and Secondary working in partnership with GEMS have written an EAL Toolkit to support learners who have English as an additional language.
The Toolkit contains support resources, assessment resources, referral documents for GEMS and suggestions on making links with the wider family.
The launch will also provide professionals with an opportunity to visit an ‘EAL friendly learning environment’, view EAL learners books and a look at resources.
