Foundation Phase Leaders: TLR Network Meeting (Autumn 2018 - Option 5) (Cancelled)
The EAS Foundation Phase team is committed to supporting all leaders to become excellent leaders. The provision of termly network meetings provides leaders with up to date information on national and local initiatives with opportunities to share best practice in aspects of leadership such as monitoring, evaluating and planning for improvement in line with the ETLF supporting materials.

These network meetings are essential for all Foundation Phase leaders/co-ordinators as part of a whole school approach to distributed leadership and raising standards within Foundation Phase.

Numeracy Co-ordinator Network Meeting (Secondary)
These termly half-day meetings provide on-going support and networking opportunities for numeracy co-ordinators to meet and share good practice with regards to whole school numeracy alongside colleagues from all five local authorities. Training will also be provided to support numeracy co-ordinators in leading and co-ordinating the implementation of the National Numeracy Framework and in establishing whole-school processes to assess, track and report on pupils’ numeracy skills.

On target: Embedding the skills for GCSE from key stage 3 to key stage 4
This is a course to progressively embed Reading, Listening, Translation and grammar, Speaking and Writing skills for the MFL WJEC GCSE specification. The skills would also be appropriate for teachers of Welsh in English medium schools

Understanding Performance Data for Primary Schools
This training session will develop governors’ understanding of the data which is routinely used within schools to monitor the development of pupils and raise standards.
