Our Forest School First Aid is delivered by an accredited First Aid trainer and Forest School Level 4 trainer; allowing us to ensure that your First Aid qualification is relevant and applicable to your forest school setting. Combing our expertise in training, the outdoors and first aid, we ensure that this is not just a certificate gaining exercise but a development of skills to aid the safety of your forest school practice.
This meeting will focus on sharing good practice in the new GCSE, including sharing resources for Paper 1 and 2. There will be advice shared on teaching the skills required for each paper. The meeting will provide opportunity for networking and further collaboration between teachers following the event.
In response to feedback from Headteachers and teachers across the region, this network will focus on supporting primary leaders of English and literacy from individual schools and those representing clusters of schools. LLC leads (literacy/language co-ordinators) from all primary schools and campuses are invited to attend. The programme will feature a balance of good practice sharing by schools in the region, information sharing by EAS advisers and discussion between LLC leads across Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly.
Pupil Development Grant and Resource Workshop 2018/19
Training on the Effective use of PDG and how to operate the grant planning tool for both schools and clusters.
The purpose of the PDG is to improve outcomes for learners eligible for free school meals (eFSM) and Looked After Children (LAC). It is intended to overcome the additional barriers that prevent learners from disadvantaged backgrounds achieving their full potential.
